The Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands is inviting parks and recreation professionals to collaborate with us in developing new online courses or updating existing ones that support the growth and success of the field.
Our online training library houses over 200 courses and serves practitioners across the country, offering practical, accessible learning in leadership, operations, natural resource management, and more. We are seeking subject matter experts who can bring fresh perspectives, field-tested strategies, and innovative ideas to our course offerings.
We welcome expertise in areas such as:
- Park operations and maintenance
- Natural and cultural resource management
- Recreation programming and community engagement
- Inclusive park design and accessibility
- Budgeting, funding, and strategic planning
- Emerging issues and best practices in parks and recreation
What’s involved:
- Collaborate with Eppley instructional designers to develop new course content or update existing materials
- Contribute to lessons, videos, or case studies based on your experience
- Participate in brief virtual planning or review sessions
Your contribution helps ensure Eppley courses remain relevant, practical, and impactful for today’s park and recreation professionals.
If interested, contact Clay Chafin at cgchafin@iu.edu. Please include your area of expertise and note whether you’re interested in creating new content or updating an existing course.
